A New IBL Base in Zhenjiang

The opening of the new Global Inclusive Leadership Centre in Zhenjiang has attracted national media attention. The national newspapers China Education Daily (中国教育报) and two local papers - China Zhenjiang Daily (中国镇江日报) and Zhenjiang Education Daily (中国镇江教育新闻), have run extended news articles on the Global Inclusive Leadership Next Gen Program at Dagang High School. The Zhenjiang Education Daily dedicated a half-page report to the Opening Ceremony of the Global Inclusive Leadership Next-Gen Program, and the unveiling of the plaque of Inclusive Leadership base in Zhenjiang. The report also traced the history of the program back to its origin.

It was in July 2014 when Dr Violet Lo started setting up the Global Inclusive Leadership program aiming to develop a next generation of inclusive leaders who are ethical, purpose-driven and global-minded. Students gained more confidence and learned a great deal of the significance of “life upon life” and unconditional love through the programs. The report on Dagang High School also mentions two outstanding students who won places in the Beijing University and Tsinghua University – a testament to the ongoing success of the program.
