Dr Violet Lo founded the Inclusive Business Lab & Inclusive Business Foundation, aiming to build a diversified ecosystem for creating inclusive opportunities and developing the next generation of purpose-driven, ethical & global minded leaders of tomorrow. In 2016, after two years working in partnership with local governments & schools in China, the Global Inclusive Leadership Next Gen Program was officially launched with first Centre setup in Jiangsu.
Violet received PhD in Mathematics in 1998 from University of Cambridge, where she was a Croucher Foundation Scholar. From 1998 to 2011, she worked for investment banks in London, New York and Hong Kong, incl. Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital and Tokyo-Mitsubishi International, specializing in strategic investments, portfolio allocation & capital management for financial institutions, insurance companies, pension funds & superannuation in UK, Europe, USA and Pan-Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia).
She has served as an advisor & board director for a micro-finance company in China, Guest Professor at Beijing Normal University School of Social Development & Public Policy, and currently serves as an Honorary Principal for Jiangsu Province Dagang High School in China.
